Dual Purpose Neuropathy Screening Device

Neuropen® is the first dual-purpose, pocket-sized device designed to provide a safe and reliable test for peripheral neuropathy and regular foot screening.

Neuropen® combines replaceable monofilaments which exert a force of 10 g onto the skin to assess protective touch/pressure sensation in large nerve fibers with a replaceable Neurotip® which exerts 30 g of pressure via a spring loaded mechanism.

Dual Purpose Neuropen® Features

  • Neurotip test for assessing reduced sensation to sharpness/ pain in small nerve fibers. The calibrated spring mechanism exerts a force of 40 g to help assess patients.
  • Monofilament test which exerts 10 g of pressure for assessing protective touch/pressure sensation in large nerve fibers.
