Vliwasorb can absorb 20 times its weight in fluid, effectively removing exudate, matrix metallo-proteinases (MMPs) and other barriers to healing. Exudate binding gel protects the wound and periwound skin from maceration. Fewer dressing changes minimize disturbances to the wound bed, providing more time for healing.
